Every other site looks better because of it. The issue is the card text itself - when you only have two options for text size, and it clips outside of the card most of the time, that isn't a sign of a good site. I get where you're coming from, but it would be foolish to try and gatekeep or force out what might prove to be a handy tool for some of the creators here. I personally use MSE to document the vast majority of my ideas, and then skim off a small number of them to put up on CS for contests and stuff. It isn't as though the site's got a forum or whatever for people to vanish into, and the Cardsmith forums can first and foremost be argued to be about the community ideal of creating custom MTG cards, not forcing people to conform into always using the same editors and methods.įor example, MSE is something that people recommend to others here every now and again. While some contests do ask that entries are specifically made using CS, that's about as far as medium bias tends to be worth bringing, I think. I'm sure I'll stick with my MSE for technicalities and general storage and CS for custom frames and community-sharing, but it's nice to know it I'm with RandomFandom on this one. It seems alright and the cards made with it are visually crisp, though it looks like it's got its limitations.
